Puertos Canarios, en colaboración con ASMAR (Actuaciones y Servicios Marítimos) y Marinas de España, ha anunciado la organización del primer Foro Azul sobre Marinas, Puertos Deportivos y Clubes Náuticos, que se celebrará en Tenerife los días 8 y 9 de mayo de 2025. El evento cuenta con el respaldo de la Consejería de Obras Públicas, Vivienda y Movilidad del Gobierno de Canarias y con la colaboración especial del portal especializado PuertosDeportivos.info.

El Foro Azul tiene como objetivo analizar el desarrollo sostenible del sector náutico-deportivo en España, abordando el equilibrio entre el crecimiento del turismo náutico y la preservación de los ecosistemas marinos. Tomás Azcárate, presidente de Marinas de España, ha destacado la importancia del evento señalando que “las marinas deportivas y los puertos deportivos son la puerta de entrada al mar para miles de turistas, y debemos garantizar que esta actividad sea sostenible y respetuosa con el medio ambiente”.

El foro contará con la participación de más de 80 expertos y profesionales del sector marítimo-portuario, quienes debatirán sobre los principales desafíos que enfrenta el turismo náutico en la actualidad. La gestión sostenible de marinas deportivas, la implementación de prácticas innovadoras para reducir el impacto ambiental y la protección de ecosistemas marinos sensibles serán algunos de los temas clave.

El programa incluirá ponencias sobre gestión de residuos, reducción de emisiones y adaptación de las infraestructuras portuarias a los efectos del cambio climático. También se abordará la gestión de fondeos regulados, la implementación de sistemas de gestión ambiental en marinas deportivas y la promoción del turismo náutico responsable.

Otro aspecto relevante del foro será el papel de las Comunidades Autónomas en la gestión de puertos deportivos y clubes náuticos, explorando los desafíos normativos y administrativos que afectan al sector. Además, se destacará la importancia de la educación ambiental y la concienciación de los usuarios de las marinas para fomentar una mayor responsabilidad en el uso de los espacios náuticos.

La elección de Tenerife como sede del Foro Azul pone de manifiesto la importancia estratégica del archipiélago canario como laboratorio de buenas prácticas en la gestión sostenible del turismo náutico. Canarias se ha consolidado como un destino clave para el turismo náutico y la preservación del medio marino, integrando iniciativas de sostenibilidad en sus infraestructuras portuarias.

El Foro Azul se presenta como una oportunidad para compartir experiencias y debatir sobre el futuro del sector, reuniendo a profesionales, administraciones y empresas con el objetivo de impulsar un turismo náutico más sostenible y responsable.
